You know you are in love when a baby blows a big old stinky formula burp on your neck and you think nothing of it. Adoptive mom called & they had their home study yesterday. So that means it will need to be written up, signed off of by CK, then submitted to cps. I'm thinking early next week. We'll spend the whole weekend fighting over holding the baby.

I talked with CPS about how long it takes for them to sign off on the papers. I think she was weirded out that I'm in the loop with adoptive parents. She asked me to call and let her know what's going on. I wish being "in the know" was full of more information.

J continues to adapt with such ease. He is so happy, loving(except he does wipe off my kisses), and smart. He listens to all my phone conversations and will make comments afterwards. I am constantly amazed at how resilient children are.

Camilles 7th bday on Saturday. Finally got birthday invites emailed today. Can't believe that my baby is so old. I can't tell if J is more mesmerized by her or Buddy.

Buddy suggested that we start a wall of photos of our foster kids. Lesley came by & got some pics of the baby. Can't wait to see them and then to forever have that pic as a memory of this sweet time.
