We get our license

Fast forward and we are finally settled in our new home. School is started and its time to get going again on the process of getting our foster care license. We get everything turned in and have our home study scheduled for a Thursday. I'm feeling a little nervous about it all until I walk into The Village Church on the Sunday before and what is there, The Heart Gallery. Takes my breath away and takes me back to my first foster care meeting. I know God is watching over us and it even becomes more evident when I am speaking to one of the church staff who tells me that The Heart Gallery wasn't scheduled to come until the following Sunday. God is not whispering in my ear. He is shouting and that makes it so easy to follow. And, we did it. Passed our home study with only a few minor glitches. As of a little over a week ago, we are now a licensed foster care home. The day I got news of the license, my stomach would flop every time the phone rang. Finally I settled in and knew that I had to give it to God. He has certainly carried us this far, I knew He wouldn't leave us now.
