Yes, we've been married 15 years as of yesterday. We celebrated with a 4th grade boys basketball practice! The whole team said a cheer of Happy Anniversary to me. How romantic. Tonight we did get away for dinner and some Christmas shopping. Got things under control but far from being totally organized.
Best part about today was Lucas's letter to his elf. I'm not sure how this got started but its a big deal at school to have an elf at your house prior to Christmas. Not just an Elf on the Shelf, but an actual elf that visits and maybe does something mischievous like mess with Christmas decorations. Tonight I just had to share parts of Lucas's letter to the elf.
"Are you elf on the shelf? I would also like to know if I have been bad or good. Also, I would like you to get something for Arianna because it would make her day awesome. P.S. Could you give my toy list to Santa. Sencerly, Lucas" ( i did correct some of his spelling for him, but I couldn't resist leaving "sencerly".
Oh, what a sweet boy.
