Cultural Difference

It's always fun to turn on my computer after Madeline has used it to see how the format or pictures have changed. Sad thing is, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to change it. I am glad that I'm no longer looking at Justin Bieber for my google homepage. We draw names amongst the 5 of us, now 6 of us for Christmas. Camille has it figured out whose name everyone has and makes the announcement of it daily. Today, on the way to church Lucas says that if he had Camille's name, he would get her a Justin B. t-shirt and concert tickets. Oh what a fabulous boyfriend he will make someday. Of course this was followed by Camille stating that A had her name and that A would probably get Camille a present that A liked and she would probably have to return it. We are still working on humility, and being less competitive. Its hard for Camille.
Todd & I were discussing another "cultural" difference between A and our hatched kiddos today. I was taking A to Sunday school and there is a policeman who stands close to the front door. A was very concerned about him being there. I just said that policemen go to church, too. The hatched kids look upon the police as heroes. They have been taught how important they are and whenever we hear a siren we always say,"God be with you." A obviously has been taught a different response to the police. Luckily, she is a really quick learner.
Did I mention, I am now down 4 pounds? Anyone want to do foster care?
